Ooty is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above the sea level. Ooty, which is deep within the Nilgiri hills, is also known as The Blue Mountains. It is unknown whether this name comes from the blue smoky haze given off by the eucalyptus trees that cover the area, or because of the kurunji flower, which blooms every twelve years giving the slopes a bluish tinge.
Day 01 : Arrive in Coimbatore
Arrive at the Coimbatore airport. Take a 3 hours’ drive to Ooty. Check in to the hotel. The day is for leisure. Overnight stay is in the hotel
Day 02 : Ooty Sightseeing
After breakfast, you can proceed for Ooty local sightseeing, covering Ooty Lake, the Botanical Garden and Dodabetta peak. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 03 : Ooty
After breakfast, be at leisure the entire day. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 04 : Depart from Coimbatore
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Proceed to the Coimbatore airport to board your flight for onward destination.
